We have an exceptional store manager and fantastic assistant manager, so this role would be an addition to these existing posts; a duty manager in retail to help run the store and cover when either of the existing managers are away from store. As long as you're ready to lead by example, be hands on and champion a customer-first mindset, you can make a difference at Specsavers Plymstock. Alongside your hard work keeping our store and team running like clockwork, we'll support you to grow your skills even further than you thought possible. You'll be at the forefront of bringing better hear and eye care to your community, while progressing your career and supporting others to do the same. If you're a less experienced manager looking for their next step we'll provide training in a fully inclusive and diverse setting, and for those with more experience we can also support progression towards directorship through the pathway programme so you can own your own store one day, if this is what you aspire to.   • A salary of £28,500 to £31,000 per annum (experience based)
A salary review after successful completion of 6 months trainingBonus scheme linked to store performance * 40 hours per week (with regular weekend working) ideally but part time may be considered for the right candidate

What we're looking for?Experience in Optics is great but not essential * Commercially minded with a focus on community enrichment
  • Experience in leadership within a fast faced retail environment
  • Eye for detail and positive attitude
