- Develop current relationships with existing customers and create relationships with the Senior Management/Board executives and consistently engage with the customer to ensure expectations are being met both pre and post sale, managing their expectations and ensuring we are able to deliver our promises.
- Generate opportunities for new or extended product sales, swap-outs, and solution development into assigned accounts
- Ensure achievement of sales against own target and achieve sales activities in line with KPIs set as part of the review process
- Develop and maintain a Pipeline of qualified sales opportunities that will deliver targeted revenue for your territory and contribute to the group sales number for the overall Team
- Build long term relationships with assigned clients at a strategic & influencing level, including ensuring customer enquiries are dealt with in a timely manner
- Develop Strategic opportunities in your accounts
- Track projects in your sites through to satisfactory completion, including ensuring all pre sales, bid and project procedures are adhered to and the delivery of bids is of high quality, in conjunction with the bid team and pre sales resources
- Understand and ensure adherence to corporate policy, processes, procedures and guidelines.
- Attend and participate in meetings with internal and external partners as required, along with training courses as directed by your line manager
- Become a valued member of the Team through efficient working practices and self development and contribute to a team oriented, collaborative culture and way of working that enhances NEC performance as a Company
- Assist in the resolution of Debts when requested by Sales Manager including ensuring delivery of balanced sales and services revenues in line with sales targets and maintaining awareness of changes in that account
- Cluster/ICS level comparison to show unwarranted variation and supplier reps influencing clinical choice. Opportunity identified to save £195k

- Solid, proven experience of software solution sales.
- Experience of selling and business development in the Health market - including NHS Trusts and ICBs. Wider international health sales experience would also be beneficial.
- Strong and demonstrable experience with the strategic development of Health Client Accounts, focussed around the sale of software solutions.
- Experience of engagement with senior management teams and purchasing decision makers within Trusts and with Clinicians - including CFOs, FDs and Directors of Purchasing.
- Excellent communication and team working skills, comfortable working with senior management level both externally and internally alongside strong interpersonal skills, demonstrating a variety of influencing styles to enable effective closure of deals.
- Exemplary ability to build sustainable relationships with key decision makers with the Healthcare market, and a desire to take the initiative, moving opportunities forward to achieve targets.
- Demonstrable ability to understand and define requirements and work with colleagues to translate these into portfolio solutions, evaluating sales options efficiently and allocating resources and time appropriately
- Demonstrates a strategic focus - ability to turn suspects into prospects and complete sales order closure
