  • Support students with profound and multiple learning difficulties in both classroom and therapeutic settings
  • Assist with personal care, mobility, and communication needs using a range of specialist strategies and equipment
  • Work closely with teachers, therapists, and families to deliver individualised learning plans
  • Create a safe, stimulating, and sensory-rich environment that promotes engagement and wellbeing
  • Encourage independence, confidence, and joy in learning through tailored support and positive reinforcement
  • Contribute to the wider school community through events, celebrations, and inclusive enrichment activities
The Ideal Candidate Will:
  • Have experience working with SEND learners, particularly those with PMLD, complex medical needs, or non-verbal communication
  • Be empathetic, resilient, and adaptable, with a calm and caring approach
  • Be confident using PECS, Makaton, switches, or other AAC tools (training can be provided)
  • Demonstrate a commitment to safeguarding, dignity, and student-centred care
  • Be a team player who brings positivity, creativity, and a can-do attitude to every challenge
