We serve as key technical enablers, building automation and self-service capabilities that streamline operations across the organisation.Our Cloud Platform Team thrives on making complex systems accessible to others, with a passion for removing technical barriers and enabling teams to focus on their core objectives rather than infrastructure challenges.Your role in the Team's SuccessThe Senior Cloud DevOps Engineer will participate in the design, deployment & operation of IaaS & PaaS on a multi-cloud platform and will design and implement cloud best practices, and developer enablement in AWS/GCP.Manage the cloud environments, formalise them using IAC, and connect with the on-prem infrastructure.Provide tools for continuous delivery, management, and audit of the AWS/GCP cloud.Create automation of repetitive processes, and hand them over to the development teamsWhat you'll doArchitect and deploy scalable, resilient cloud solutions that form the foundation of our infrastructureCreate and maintain developer-friendly tools and platforms that simplify cloud resource managementImplement infrastructure as code (IaC) practices to ensure consistency and reproducibilityEstablish robust security protocols and compliance frameworksDesign and build self-service capabilities that accelerate other teams' workflowsEvaluate, implement and streamline DevOps practices.Establish a continuous build environment to accelerate software deployment and development processes.Optimise cloud resources to balance performance and cost-efficiencyDevelop comprehensive monitoring and logging systemsCreate and maintain CI/CD pipelines for seamless deploymentTroubleshoot complex infrastructure issues and provide technical guidanceHow we workWe try to take a thoughtful approach to our ways of working as a company. When it comes to how we deliver, there are 5 things we want everyone to do to drive high performance, better learning and career satisfaction:Lead and Inspire: Drives trust, alignment, and enthusiasmThink Big: Focus on the problems that most impact commercial outcomesChampion the client: Understand and prioritise client's needsDeliver at pace: Push for fast, sustainable growth;Raise the bar: Take ownership, be accountable and share feedbackWhat you'll need for this role8-10 years of experience, of which at least 4 years in designing and administering complex cloud Infrastructure platforms (AWS, GCP).4+ years of experience in Infrastructure As Code (Terraform/Ansible/CDK/Pulumi, etc), on-prem/cloud Kubernetes administration.Must have DevSecOps skills required (CI\CD, Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins, Gitlab, Bitbucket, Artifactory, Python, Git, etc.)Solid working knowledge of networking and CDNsDeep understanding of services like VPC, Direct Connect, Transit Gateways, VPN (AWS, GCP)A good understanding of the IaaS, PaaS layersExperience in implementing relevant monitoring and alerting actions and writing and maintaining technical documentation.Experience in managing Kubernetes clusters and services (EKS preferred, but AKS or GKE acceptable) and building docker images.We believe that diversity is vital to success; it fuels creativity, drives innovation and sets us up for global success.
