Job Category: FinanceJob Description:About the role:At NEXT we have a great opportunity for a Quality Assurance Analyst to complement our existing Cash Accounting team based at our Head Office in Leicestershire. You will work as an integral part of our team and will be primarily responsible for testing of new systems projects to ensure they are successful and coordinating payment incidents. This is a temporary position for 6 months.You will work within our Cash Accounting team who are responsible for delivering finance support to key stakeholders across the business for a variety of purposes including;
  • Producing insightful reporting for key Business Stakeholders
  • Cash flow monitoring and 3rd party management
  • Supporting systems projects to deliver customer improvements
  • Investigation into payment issues
Main ResponsibilitiesProject implementation
  • Involved in successful project implementation for key business priorities
  • Responsible for scoping tests and assessing the resultant output
  • Liaise with systems teams and Business Systems to thoroughly test systems projects
  • Ensure test output is in line with expected outcomes across various system portals and reports
  • Report any issues found to raise bugs for systems to review and escalate as necessary to management
  • Attend cross functional stand up to ensure bugs are being resolved, quality of test scripts, and future testing volumes
  • Maintain internal test logs to track coverage and success rates and at the end of a test cycle generate the formal sign off document for Manager approval
  • Ensuring test cases are reviewed and maintained to ensure an even coverage of test scenarios
  • Post project implementation reviews
  • Checking and signing off gift cards before sending to print
About you:
  • Attention to detail and an ability to self motivate
  • Ability to work in a fast pace challenging and demanding environment with changing priorities
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills to ensure project sign off within the required deadlines
  • Can effectively communicate both orally and in writing and be able to influence as necessary
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Proficient with Google Sheets and Excel
  • Previous industry experience / work placement
  • Previous retail/online experience
  • An understanding of SQL is desirable but not essential
