This is a rare opportunity to join an ambitious, independent practice based in Fareham, experiencing strong growth both organically and through acquisition. You’ll join at an exciting point in their journey, supporting two junior team members, taking ownership of a client portfolio, and playing an active role in the firm’s future success.With a clear path to develop into a management role, this is ideal for someone who is hands-on, commercially minded, and keen to make an impact in a supportive, entrepreneurial environment.What will the Qualified Accountant role involve?
  • Managing a portfolio of SME clients across varied sectors
  • Preparing statutory accounts, management accounts, and related services
  • Supporting and reviewing work of 2 junior team members
  • Acting as a key point of contact for clients, building strong relationships
  • Contributing to the firm’s growth strategy and internal process improvement
  • Long-term opportunity to step into a manager position as the team expands
Suitable Candidate for the Qualified Accountant vacancy:
  • ACA / ACCA qualified with experience in an accountancy practice
  • Confident managing accounts preparation and client communication
  • Comfortable reviewing work and guiding junior team members
  • Ambitious and commercially aware, with a desire to grow into management
  • Willing to get involved in wider business development and firm growth
  • Positive, proactive and eager to be part of a growing, close-knit team
