You will be joining a forward-thinking school that prides itself on pupil progress, high standards of teaching, and strong behaviour management policies.Whether you are an experienced English Teacher or an ECT/NQT looking to take your first steps into a permanent role, this is a rewarding opportunity to make a real impact in the classroom.Responsibilities:Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging English lessons in line with the national curriculum.Teach and inspire pupils across KS3 and KS4 to achieve their full potential in English Language and Literature.Create stimulating and inclusive learning environments that promote confidence and achievement.Assess, monitor, and track student progress, providing constructive feedback to support development.Differentiate lessons to meet the needs of pupils with varying abilities and learning styles.Collaborate with colleagues within the English department to share best practices and develop teaching resources.Maintain excellent communication with parents, staff, and students to support positive learning outcomes.Contribute to departmental meetings, professional development sessions, and whole-school initiatives.Requirements:Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – or working towards it.
