Hours: Full time, Monday-Friday, 9.00am-5.15pm (36.25 hours per week)An established and reputable law firm is seeking an Experienced Conveyancing Paralegal to join its busy Residential Conveyancing team in Sleaford. This role offers the chance to handle a broad range of conveyancing matters in a supportive and professional environment.The Role
The position involves assisting with and undertaking routine residential and other conveyancing work. You will need to be organised, able to work to tight deadlines, and committed to delivering excellent client service.Key responsibilities include:Supporting fee earners with a caseload of conveyancing matters and providing cover when neededPreparing client quotationsConducting property searchesLiaising with estate agentsPreparing standard contract documentationAssisting with enquiries and managing transactions from exchange to completionHandling post-completion formalities, including Stamp Duty Land Tax, Companies House, and Land Registry registrationsManaging file closuresYou will also be involved in departmental initiatives to promote the firms conveyancing services and enhance its reputation.Key Duties and ResponsibilitiesProviding an ongoing service to existing clientsWorking with colleagues to develop new business opportunitiesContributing to departmental growth and maximising cross-referrals across the businessAchieving fee income targets and agreed objectivesStaying informed about legal and procedural changes in conveyancingMaintaining and improving legal skillsManaging financial aspects of matters, including cash flow, payments on account, and billingRecording time spent on client and internal work accuratelyEnsuring work is carried out to the firms quality and risk management standardsAbout You
The ideal candidate will have:Proven experience as a Conveyancing ParalegalA solid understanding of residential conveyancing processesKnowledge of Microsoft Office (Word and Excel)Familiarity with case management systems and Solicitors Accounts RulesA clear understanding of Money Laundering RegulationsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong organisational and planning abilitiesThe ability to prioritise effectively and work well under pressureExperience with Visual Files case management is desirable.Benefits
