  • Provide expert clinical advice and leadership in the development and implementation of effective care pathways for pregnant women and birthing people.
  • Drive improvements in health outcomes by addressing inequalities in all aspects of care.
  • Lead the implementation of the midwifery strategy, ensuring high-quality, inclusive care for women and their families.
  • Collaborate with various departments and health professionals to deliver evidence-based practice and best possible care.
  • Oversee the Public Health Core20PLUS5 agenda and work alongside local services to ensure equitable and responsive care.
Qualifications and experience
  • Proven experience in a senior midwifery role with a strong focus on public health.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and implement strategic initiatives in a healthcare setting.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and adherence to the highest standards of professional behaviour.
