You will be responsible for creating and issuing personnel and vehicle passes to all RAF Shawbury personnel and visitors in accordance with the RAF Shawbury Control of Entry Policy in support of the HADES contract.Day-to-day, you'll have the following responsibilities:
  • Issue permanent passes and permits - including providing assistance and guidance on pass application process and the issue of temporary passes when required by guardroom staff
  • Control and secure the custody of passes and permits prior to issue - blank security forms are Unclassified. Blank ID cards are to be treated as Sensitive documents and safeguarded in accordance with JSP440. (Military Policy control entrance policy - Joint service publication)
  • Carry out completion checks before issuing pass/permit to the recipient - including all relevant security checks following strict GDPR regulations
  • Collate any required documentation for the completion of Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) vetting of passes and permits for dependants, contractors, and social personnel - ensure correct completion of all documentation.
This role is part time, 16.25 hours per week working Monday and Tuesday 6.5 hours and Wednesday 3.25 hours and based onsite at RAF Shawbury.Essential experience of the Clerk:
  • Experienced in the use of Microsoft Office, and with strong IT skills
  • Previous experience working within an environment with GDPR requirements
