- Provide administrative and drafting support for complex legal work including business communications, corporate policies, customer agreements, partner agreements, and non-disclosure agreements.
- Answer questions from Legal team members, and to review and audit other Legal admin team members' work for errors and inconsistencies.
- Provide day-to-day administrative support and manage a wide variety of complicated tasks that require research and strong analytical skills.
- Handle and track third-party legal correspondence and requests.
- Maintain confidential files and update Global Relay's CRM system and other record keeping systems.
- Improve legal operations by maintaining a legal library, how-to guides, reference manuals, and resource materials.
- Look for innovative ways to optimize legal processes and take an ownership role in special projects.
- Keep all tasks up to date and issue task status updates to requesters within their required dates.
- Minimum 5 years working in an Administrative Assistant or Paralegal position.
- Bachelor's degree, or diploma in a related field, or similar administrative work experience.
- Highly motivated, meticulous, efficient, organized, assertive, and laser-focused on the details.
- Strong ability to pivot when priority and processes change.
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), Internet research, Adobe Acrobat Pro, and Salesforce CRM.
- Able to juggle multiple projects and manage a high-volume workload in a fast-paced environment, both collaborating within a team and working independently to get the job done, no matter how big or small the project.
- Calm, self-reliant and able to prioritize workload.
- Excellent judgment and demonstrated discretion handling confidential information.
- Strong writing, interpersonal and communication skills.
- Comfortable working with (and curious about) new technology.
- Experience with due diligence and analysis in strategic transactions (including licensing agreements, technology contracts, vendor transactions) and experience supporting a legal team is a significant plus.
