Hours: 9:00 AM - 4:30 PM (flexible working available)
Focus: Personalised teaching for students with SEN, SEMH, SEMD, and medical needsAbout the RoleAre you a qualified teacher looking for a more flexible and impactful way to support young learners? This role offers the opportunity to work one-to-one with students who benefit from a tailored approach to education. You'll be helping children and young people with a range of needs-academic, emotional, and medical-reconnect with learning and build confidence in their abilities.What You'll Be DoingDeliver bespoke lessons in core subjects, adapted to each learner's pace and abilityFoster a calm, structured environment that supports emotional and academic developmentBuild strong, trusting relationships with students and their familiesEncourage resilience, independence, and a positive learning mindsetCollaborate with families and professionals to ensure consistent, wraparound supportWhat You'll NeedQTS or equivalent (PGCE)At least 2 years of teaching experienceStrong subject knowledge in Maths, English, and Science (UK curriculum)Experience across Key Stages 1-4Background in supporting students with SEN, SEMH, or complex needsEnhanced DBS on the Update ServiceLegal right to work in the UKA solid understanding of safeguarding and child protectionWhy Choose Sugarman Health and Wellbeing - Children's Services?We're not just about education-we're about transformation.
