A specialist SEMH setting for boys in Havant is seeking a Behaviour Mentor to join their team immediately.This is a challenging but highly rewarding role where you'll work closely with pupils who display complex behavioural needs, often stemming from trauma, social disadvantage, or unmet emotional needs. You will be a key support figure in their day-to-day learning and personal development.The role includes:Supporting pupils 1:1 and in small groups with emotional regulation and learningDe-escalating challenging behaviour and applying positive behaviour strategiesActing as a consistent and trusted adult throughout the school dayYou must have:An enhanced DBS on the update serviceUp-to-date safeguarding trainingResilience, empathy, and a calm approach under pressure
