- Lead the product vision through understanding the unique needs of customers starting their investment journey and delivering innovative solutions that simplifies investing, improves customers' financial literacy and improves customer outcomes
- Drive new business through the ongoing development of investment propositions offering targeted support to enhance the user experiences and deliver tailored solutions
- Develop and execute a comprehensive product strategy including the preparation and development of detailed product propositions to deliver against the business vision
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, customer needs and changing competitive landscape to drive continuous innovation and product improvement
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including UX, product delivery, engineering and marketing to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of the range of products. Analyse data and metrics to make informed decisions and optimise product performance
- Own product roadmaps, ensuring they reflect our strategic vision, meet customer needs and regulatory requirements
- Ensure the D2C products comply with FCA regulations and industry standards, in particular, regarding the Consumer Duty. Work closely with legal and compliance teams to mitigate risks and maintain trust with customers
- Manage the products in line with the AJ Bell Product governance framework
- Build and manage relationships with key external suppliers
- Lead and mentor a team of product mangers through fostering a culture of collaboration to encourage creativity and high performance
- Proven experience in product strategy, development and management within the financial services industry preferably with an investment business
- Proven track record of leading and developing high-performing teams
- Educated to degree level or relevant vocational qualifications
- Detailed knowledge of the financial services industry including the FCA regulatory framework and market dynamics
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to understand and advocate for customer needs and experiences
