- Manage road freight shipments, ensuring smooth and timely process flow.
- Accurately enter and maintain shipment data in the system.
- Track and trace shipments, providing regular updates and reporting.
- Use the road freight workflow daily to manage deliveries.
- Ensure accurate and timely billing for clients and vendors.
- Oversee freight delivery and clearance where applicable.
- Support customers with shipment arrangements, meeting service standards
- Build and maintain strong relationships with carriers, suppliers, and partners.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and government regulations.
- Maintain and update customer SOPs (DLSOPs).
- Achieve KPI targets in line with company standards.
- Communicate promptly with internal teams and external partners.
- Escalate issues when needed and contribute to process improvements.
- Knowledge of road freight operations, regulations, and compliance.
- Experience with a UK based freight forwarder
- Based in the UK and have RTW – No sponsorship is on offer
- Understanding of the logistics industry; Hazmat certification a plus.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Confident using Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Fluent in English with excellent communication skills.
- Positive, proactive, and customer-focused attitude.
