
Communications Planning Specialist

- Support the development and the embedding the overarching corporate communication strategy for the function.
- Plan and organise communication meetings and team meetings, preparing all agendas and ensuring objectives and actions are documented and met.
- Collaborate across SJP in the capturing and sharing of communications plans to build cohesion and drive proactive stakeholder engagement.
- Maintain key outputs for the Head of Corporate Communications and Head of Communication planning, such as: The Comms and engagement calendar - across all audiences and Corporate message house and key programmatic messages
- Bring exceptional attention to detail to all tasks and responsibilities, as there are usually a fair few balls to juggle.
- Strong organisational and planning skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, meetings, and deliverables in a fast paced environment.
- Excellent attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and quality across communications materials, reporting, and operational outputs.
- Collaborative and team oriented approach, with the ability to build strong relationships and work effectively with senior stakeholders and colleagues across the business.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, Teams, and Project Online, with a willingness to learn additional systems such as content management platforms.
- Experience or understanding of corporate communications or internal engagement strategy, ideally within a large or complex organisation.
- Knowledge of SJP's culture, values, and audience segmentation, or a proven ability to quickly develop insight into stakeholder needs and organisational context.
- Out of hours may be required for reactive, unforeseen circumstances and cyclical business events.
