- Provide one-on-one or small group tuition sessions for students with SEN, including but not limited to Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Dyslexia, ADHD, and Emotional and Behavioral Difficulties (EBD).
- Develop individualized learning plans and instructional materials tailored to the specific needs and abilities of each student.
- Implement effective teaching strategies and techniques to support students in achieving their academic goals and fostering their personal growth.
- Collaborate with school staff, parents, and other professionals to ensure a collaborative and holistic approach to student support and progress monitoring.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress, including assessment data, session summaries, and communication logs.
- A recognized teaching qualification (QTS/PGCE) or relevant tutoring experience.
- Experience working with students with SEN, preferably in a school or educational setting.
- Strong knowledge of SEN conditions, interventions, and best practices in teaching and learning.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Flexibility, adaptability, and a positive attitude towards supporting students with diverse learning needs.
