- Experience working within Student Support Services preferably in a SEND/SEMH or non-mainstream environment
- High level of emotional intelligence
- Able to manage multiple complex priorities under pressure
- Able to build and maintain good relationships with pupils, parents and carers, staff, schools and educational and safeguarding professionals
- Able to manage their own time and work to deadlines
- Experience of handling sensitive and confidential material and working towards GDPR/ Safeguarding protocols
- have a thorough understanding of safeguarding and its application and implementation
- have good ICT skills (Familiarity with MS Office is essential. Knowledge of SIMS and CPOMS is desirable)
