An Au Pair is needed by this warm and welcoming family in Wimbledon, London to help them in looking after their two school-aged children and a toddler. They seek someone caring, responsible, and proactive who can become a part of their household. The Au Pair will assist them in caring for their energetic and loving children, providing a consistent and nurturing routine. The role involves a balance of school runs, play, light household tasks, and meaningful support in the daily life of a family that values kindness and communication. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to gain experience in childcare, including exposure to SEN, while enjoying a supportive home environment.A valid first aid qualification is a requirement for this position.Working hours: Monday to Friday from 7:00 am to 9:30 am then 3:00 pm to 7:30 pm, approximately 35 hours per weekAccommodation: Own bedroom and private toiletDuties include:
  • General childcare for three children
  • Morning and evening routines (e.g. waking, dressing, breakfast/dinner time, and bedtime prep)
  • School and nursery drop-offs and pick-ups: 2nd child, travels to school 30-minutes away by public transport, the younger child, attends nursery located 250 meters from the house, the older child, has a taxi service for school drop-off and returns home at 4:00 pm
  • After-school supervision and engagement
  • Supporting after-school club pick-up at 3:30 pm for the 4-year-old
  • Assisting with homework and educational activities
  • Providing engaging indoor and outdoor play
  • Preparing and cooking simple meals for the children
  • Preparing and cooking simple meals for the children, including breakfast, snacks, and dinner
  • Light housekeeping related to the children, tidying bedrooms and play areas, and children's laundry
