- The leadership and direction of multiple projects in Scotland and Wembley London.
- Leading a team of project managers who are responsible for delivering individual projects.
- Reporting into the Portfolio director for Regional Electrics on all matters time, cost, quality, safety and customer satisfaction.
- Project strategy leader and customer escalation point who drives project improvement and predicts and avoids project issues, thereby leading to consistently strong business and performance results
- This will involve ensuring the successful delivery of the contract agreements within budget and to meet the end customer needs.
- Working to ensure consistent application of procedures and financial controls and budgets, providing regular reports (KPI’s) for onsite activities.
- Ensuring that the Customer / Supplier relations, communication and performance are maximised, both internally and externally, whilst ensuring the delivery of risks and opportunities to enhance Alstom’s margin and positioning with the Customer.
- All to be undertaken whilst maintaining Compliance with all relevant Quality and Safety Standards.
- Significant experience of project and operational management in a major environment incorporating: Best Practice, Total Quality Management, Continuous Improvement, Lean Management, 8D analysis and ISO 9001 processes, preferably within the Rail Industry.
- Proven Track Record in continuous improvement and cost down delivery
- Experience in QHSE site based requirements.
- Strong Project Management skills
- Strong Contract and Commercial knowledge
- Good communicator both through face to face discussions and presentations
