Salary: Up to £63,000 (depending on experience) for a 37-hour weekAre you ready to take the lead in high-voltage electrical operations and make a real impact in the power distribution sector?We're seeking a Senior Authorised Person (SAP) to join our dynamic team, supporting construction and asset replacement projects across SSEN networks. This is a hands-on, site-based role where your expertise will be critical in ensuring safe and efficient electrical operations.What You'll Be Doing:
- Execute LV & HV/EHV switching, isolation, earthing, and safety documentation duties
- Develop switching schedules and methods of work
- Control and monitor electrical construction and fault restoration on HV/LV networks up to 33kV
- Lead emergency response and power restoration efforts
- Manage and supervise Jointer and Fitter teams
- Provide technical guidance and support to clients and colleagues
- Travel within the region, with occasional weekend and on-call duties
- Authorisation to conduct switching operations from LV to 11kV (33kV desirable)
- Strong safety-first mindset and operational excellence
- In-depth knowledge of DNO switchgear and associated plant
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Familiarity with current regulations, standards, and codes of practice
- 132kV Authorisations would be desirable
