Pay: £150 – £230 per day (PAYE – no umbrella deductions)

Start Date: ASAP / September 2025A welcoming primary school in Caterham is seeking a dedicated Primary Class Teacher for a long-term cover role. This is a great opportunity for an experienced teacher or an enthusiastic ECT ready to step into a supportive school community and make a lasting difference to pupils’ learning.The Role – Primary Class TeacherYou will:
  • Take full responsibility for a class within the primary phase.
  • Deliver engaging, high-quality lessons across the curriculum.
  • Support pupils of mixed abilities to achieve their potential.
  • Maintain a positive, well-managed classroom in line with school policies.
  • Work collaboratively with SLT and your year group team.
  • Contribute to planning, staff meetings, and wider school life.
What We’re Looking For
  • A qualified Primary Teacher with UK QTS (or equivalent).
  • Experience teaching within the primary age range.
  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
  • Someone adaptable who can follow planning and add value quickly.
  • Enthusiasm, reliability, and a genuine commitment to teaching.
