You will be a Project Manager who understands Pensions, or you could also be a Pensions Specialist who is a Project Manager but you must be able to manage projects first and foremost. Our client, a major highly reputed, award-winning in-house pension department in the South of England, is also hoping you have the following skills: Project experience of Data Migration, Testing Calculation Projects, User Acceptance Testing projects and are confident liaising with external suppliers. Our client appreciates your expert project management skills in the pension's world are currently highly sought after and will try to be as accommodating as possible.You will be responsible for projects through the full project life-cycle including defining and implementing the project plans, ensuring adequate resource is assigned and effective change control is undertaken, whilst ensuring that there is stakeholder engagement throughout, and take responsibility for overall progress and use of resources including negotiation with other managers to source required resources. You will also develop and maintain project documentation including scope, governance, plan, risks/issues and associated communications documents, track progress against project milestones and deliverables and provide appropriate progress reports and importantly manage project risks, including the development of contingency plans and where appropriate, ensure appropriate and effective testing is performed.You will have demonstrable experience in planning and successfully delivering complex, multi-component pension projects across people, process and systems, and of producing project documentation throughout the full project life-cycle, and project status reporting to all levels, highlighting potential issues and project slippage and explaining plans to mitigate these issues. You will also need operational knowledge of the UK DB and DC legal, regulatory and taxation framework.This is a super opportunity to become a highly valued and respected individual in a large team of very friendly, but also highly knowledgeable pension's professionals.
