Reporting directly to the Head of Revenue Operations and Digital Transformation, you will play a critical role as the technical bridge between Sales, Product, and other revenue generating teams.As the sole Sales Engineer, you'll have a unique opportunity to shape the function, working closely with Account Executives and Partnership Managers to deliver compelling technical demos and guide prospects through complex implementation challenges. Your insights will help customers design scalable solutions using our platform, ultimately driving adoption, revenue growth, and product innovation.Key Responsibilities
- Act as a trusted technical advisor in the sales process, helping prospective customers understand how Blink’s platform fits their needs.
- Lead discovery conversations, deliver tailored demos, and support proof of value initiatives to demonstrate real business impact.
- Own the technical relationship from pre-sales through to integration, ensuring a smooth onboarding experience.
- Work closely with Sales, Product, and Support teams to design and implement scalable, high-converting payment solutions.
- Share customer feedback and technical insights to shape product development and improve the integration experience.
- Create and maintain enablement materials to support internal training and knowledge sharing across the business.
- Experience in a technical, data-focused or pre-sales consulting role, ideally within a SaaS or platform-based environment.
- Strong grasp of sales methodologies such as MEDDICC, BANT and value-based selling principles.
- Excellent communication and technical documentation skills, with the ability to design and present technical solutions aligned with our sales frameworks.
- Understanding of APIs and webhooks, with the ability to explain and troubleshoot technical integrations; experience with HTML, JavaScript, or PHP is a strong plus.
- Curious and growth-oriented, with a passion for continuous learning and a desire to evolve alongside the company.
- Technically fluent, with a natural ability to build trust, support strategic relationships, and expand platform adoption within customer environments.
- Analytical and solutions-driven, with sound judgment, consultative problem-solving abilities, and the confidence to manage escalations effectively.
- Familiarity with Salesforce.
