Operational Support is a complex and multi-faceted department which requires a large amount of specialised and sensitive equipment in order to function. We are looking for an individual to support the equipment management function within the department.The responsibilities related to this position are as follows:
- Assist in manage the logistics, maintenance (working with external contractors), distribution and calibration of a wide variety of equipment and instruments.
- Work with senior management and other departments to identify new equipment or solutions.
- Provide administrative support and maintain up to date documentation relating to the equipment under their care.
- Ensure daily consumables for all sub-departments are fully stocked and available for use at all times.
- Candidates should ideally have a minimum of standard grades or equivalent in Maths, English and a Science.
- Previous experience of working within a regulated environment (GLP/GMP) would be a distinct advantage
- Previous experience using electronic systems and databases.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Have an organised and logical approach/mind-set.
