- Support menu development with the head chef and catering manager, to ensure we provide a combination of healthy, nutritious, exiting meals which are cost effective to produce.
- Actively seek feedback from customers to ensure the food and service options stay relevant and appealing to drive sales and positive reviews.
- Manage stock rotation and support with the management of stock with a focus on reducing waste, ensuring product availability, stock holding, and stock security.
- Complete all daily food safety checks, to include allergens, and food related legislation
- Understand the whole patterns and contribute to ideas and give feedback to improve the offer.
- Stay up to date with market and sector trends for dish content and presentation.
- Assist with all kitchen people processes, induction, and training and complete any training courses required.
- Support the team through their learning journey
