
Shift Technician

- To undertake all aspects of Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM), Reactive Maintenance, small projects and Help Desk Calls in accordance with both client and JLL requirements
- To manage and monitor the building operational functions
- To be responsible for the buildings operational assets and systems whilst on shift
- To issue permit to work for all specialist vendors and carryout appropriate isolations via LOTO
- To complete HV training ( tbc ) and switch HV and LV supplies as required
- To assist and support the Engineering Technician in all functions, to ensure HSE, statutory and contractual compliance
- Escalation of incidents
- All aspects of Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM), Reactive Maintenance, and Help Desk Calls managed and completed whilst on shift.
- Provide holiday and sickness cover
- Staff supervision including sub-contractors and specialist providers.
- Be proactive with regard to preventative maintenance and extra works.
- Operate JLL QA and HSE policy and procedures
- Maintain clear and legible records as required.
- Provide written incident reports as required.
- Interaction with JLL support staff, providing information as required
- Switching of HV and LV supplies as required
- To deputise and support as required.

- A pro-active, can-do attitude to facilitate positive working relationships with all staff
- Interface with Client Representative, and Service providers
- City & Guilds Parts 1 and 2 (Electrical Installation 2360) or recognised equivalent; or
- 18th Edition Institute of Electrical Engineers (I.E.E) Registration or recognised equivalent.
- Experience gained within a critical maintenance environment
- A good working knowledge of BMS, and critical assets and systems i.e. UPS, Emergency Generation, Electrical and Mechanical distribution, Air conditioning
- Ability to interpret technical information and work with the team to provide solutions to technical / complex issues
- Good leadership qualities, with a desire to progress within the business
- HV Approved
- BTEC ONC Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or Building Services or recognised equivalent
- Experience in a supervisory role
- Strong and quietly confident character
