- Greet patients and visitors with a smile and professionalism.
- Answer telephone calls, respond to queries, and direct calls appropriately.
- Book, amend, and cancel patient appointments using the clinical system.
- Register new patients and update existing patient records.
- Process repeat prescription requests and liaise with clinical staff.
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail and emails.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to data protection policies.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as scanning, filing, and photocopying.
- Support the clinical team with day-to-day operations.
- Follow practise protocols and procedures at all times.
- A friendly demeanour and excellent communication skills.
- Strong organisational abilities and attention to detail.
- Previous experience as a receptionist, preferably within a medical setting.
- A current DBS check is essential.
- Proficiency in handling clinical systems and administrative tasks.
