- The school seeks a SEN Learning Support Assistant who will be bubbly, empathetic, enthusiastic and caring.
- providing support and guidance to the students in their variety of learning needs and assistance with personal care / moving and handling with hoists.
- A SEN Learning Support Assistantwill have flexibility in handling sudden changes in routine or behaviour.
- Delivering individualized support to children aged 4-19 years old on a one-to-one and small-group basis.
- Building a strong and long-lasting relationship with students, enabling them to reach their full potential whilst having fun.
- The school is a specialist school for children with SEN. The school teaches children from 4 to 19 years old in small classes and a one-to-one basis.

- Experience in Teaching Assistant roles (Preferable).
- Ideally have your own transport or close public transport links
- Experience with both small group and 1:1 is beneficial
- Friendly and nurturing qualities.
- Competent behaviour management skills.
- Familiarity with a range of needs (e.g., ASD - Autistic Spectrum Disorder, SLD - Severe Learning Difficulty and PMLD - Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulty).
- Preferablymoving and handling training or have recent experience in this.
- Have a patient and caring nature.
- Have a desire to work with children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities.
- Willing to complete CPD training.
- Have a desire to work with children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities.
- Excellent daily rates paid weekly by our in-house Payroll team using the Pay As You Earn (PAYE) system.
