If so, we’d love to hear from you!We are looking for Analyst Consultants with a ‘can-do’ approach and a background in climate science, climate policy, economics or geography to join our vibrant multi-national team within Ricardo’s Policy, Strategy and Economics (PSE) Practice. You will work on leading edge science, data, policy, research and capacity building projects for a range of clients including the European Commission, national and local governments, multi-lateral organisations and more. - Support project delivery, such as through primary and secondary research, stakeholder engagement, data management and analysis, qualitative analysis, report writing and presentations.
- Work on multiple exciting projects, managing your time and contributions effectively.
- Collaborate with senior colleagues to provide actionable solutions for climate-focused policy and strategy challenges.
- Gain valuable skills in research, analysis, and client-facing communication.
- A Masters degree (or near completion) in Science, Policy or Economics, preferably with courses in disciplines such as climate science, climate policy, carbon management, energy transitions, environmental policy and environmental governance.
- A background or interest in climate change issues, with a passion for driving ambition in mitigation actions and increasing climate resilience.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to synthesize data to support evidence-based solutions.
- Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal. You can simplify technical concepts for diverse audiences, including producing high quality written outputs.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel and Word are key)
- A collaborative mindset—you’re a team player who thrives in diverse, multidisciplinary teams.
- Fluency in English (Spanish required for roles in Madrid; other languages are a plus).
