Main Duties of the Electrical installation Lecturer:
  • Develop and update course materials, syllabi, and lesson plans for electrical installation programs, ensuring alignment with industry standards and learning outcomes.
  • Deliver lectures, seminars, and practical demonstrations on topics such as electrical theory, wiring regulations, circuit design, and safety procedures.
  • Design and administer assessments, exams, and practical assessments to evaluate students' understanding and proficiency in electrical installation concepts and skills.
  • Provide academic guidance, mentorship, and support to students, including advising on course progression, career opportunities, and professional development in the electrical industry.
  • Perform administrative tasks related to course management, such as maintaining student records, grading assignments, and scheduling classes and laboratory sessions.
Requirements of the Electrical installation Lecturer:
  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Electrical Installation, or a related field.
  • Teaching qualifications or certifications such as a PGCE (Postgraduate Certificate in Education) or a relevant teaching qualification (e.g., CertEd) may be preferred or required depending on the institution.
  • Significant practical experience working in the electrical installation field.
