This is a fantastic opportunity for aspiring teachers to build essential experience in a dynamic and supportive school environment.The Role – Graduate Teaching AssistantAs a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will work alongside experienced teachers across a range of subjects and year groups, supporting students both academically and personally. You will play a key role in reinforcing subject content, encouraging engagement, and helping to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.Key Responsibilities – Graduate Teaching Assistant
- Support the delivery of lessons across various subjects at Key Stage 3 and 4
- Provide one-to-one or small group support for students who need additional help
- Assist with lesson planning, preparation, and classroom resource creation
- Help maintain a focused and respectful classroom environment
- Tailor support for students with SEND, EAL, or additional learning needs
- Promote a positive learning culture and high expectations for all students
- Get involved in extracurricular activities and contribute to wider school life
- A recent graduate (minimum 2:1 degree in any subject)
- Genuinely passionate about education and making a difference
- A confident and clear communicator with a proactive approach
- Ideally experienced in mentoring, tutoring, or working with young people
- Able to commit to a full-time role for the entire 2025/26 academic year
- Earn up to £650 per week while gaining hands-on classroom experience
