
Wire Harness Technician

- Read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical drawings
- Cut, strip, crimp, and solder wires to assemble harnesses in line with technical specifications
- Install connectors, lugs, and protective components as per design requirements
- Perform continuity and electrical testing on finished harnesses using appropriate test equipment
- Inspect completed products to ensure compliance with quality standards, resolving any identified faults
- Maintain accurate documentation of assembly steps, materials used, and testing results
- Provide suggestions for process or design improvements
- Carry out routine maintenance of tools and equipment used in the assembly process
- Follow all company procedures, including health and safety protocols
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment, ensuring the correct use of PPE at all times
- Minimum 2 years of experience in cable or wire harness assembly
- Confident in reading and working from wiring diagrams and schematics
- Skilled in soldering, crimping, and using a variety of connectors and hand tools
- Experience with testing equipment such as multimeters and continuity testers
- Knowledge of IPC/WHMA-A-620, J-STD, and COPS standards is highly desirable
- Monday – Thursday, 08:00 – 16:30
- Friday, 08:00 – 13:00
