Job Title: Site Manager - Retail Refurbishment
Location: Thurrock, Essex
Duration: 5 WeeksAbout the Role
We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee the completion of a retail refurbishment project in Thurrock. The role will involve managing the over sheeting of the existing roof along with some minor internal works.The successful candidate will complete a handover with the current Site Manager during the week commencing 1st September, before taking full responsibility for the project.Responsibilities
  • Manage and coordinate site activities, including roofing and internal refurbishment works.
  • Ensure works are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Maintain strict health & safety compliance on site.
  • Liaise with the client, subcontractors, and project team.
  • Manage snagging and ensure a smooth project handover.
Requirements
  • Previous experience as a Site Manager on retail or refurbishment projects.
  • Valid SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid at Work certifications.
  • Strong knowledge of health & safety and quality standards.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills.
  • Available to start early September for the full duration of the contract.
