Network Security Solution Architect:To work as a member of the internal Security Strategy and Architecture team (resource augmentation) assigned to work 100% on delivery programmes. Responsible for researching solutions and writing solution options reports , writing high level designs (business focussed), writing low level designs (technology focussed), costing solutions, representing designs at governance bodies to get approval (e.g. design authority), providing advice/guidance to delivery teams on the implementation of the design and performing architectural governance to assure delivery aligns to the design. - The Architect will be assigned to multiple projects and report to a Senior Security Architect.Key Requirements:Understand network architecture and toolsKnowledge of hybrid cloud networks (On-Prem and Multi Cloud)Knowledge of OT networksExperience of designing macro and micro segmentation for both on-premise and cloud networksExperience of designing Network Access Control solutionsExperience of designing zero trust network access (ZTNA) services for both external and internal accessExperience of Experience of next generation firewall designShould align network security solutions with wider network security and network roadmapSimplify micro-segmentation and data flow mapping using appropriate tooling for hybrid infrastructures (cloud/on-prem and IT/OT)Assess the strategic integration such as NAC & ZTNA, SSE & SASE across IT and OT environments.Collaborate with SD-WAN delivery initiatives to address SASE security risks and enhance Zero Trust capabilitiesEvaluate and challenge proposed technologies to identify opportunities for consolidation and efficiencyDesired Skills:Ideally Experience of Operational Technology network designIdeally with experience or knowledge of NIST, NIS-R, eCAF cybersecurity frameworksIdeally familiar with Water/Utilities sector and CNI (Critical National Infrastructure) use cases
