Mechanical Site Manager – Chesterfield – Starts 11th August - £300 per dayWe are seeking a Site Manager with an M&E bias, ideally mechanical, for a temporary assignment in Chesterfield, starting on 11th August for approximately 6 weeks.This is a refurbishment of an existing building with the aim of reducing the sites carbon footprint and energy efficiency.The ideal candidate will manage and oversee mechanical and electrical installations, ensuring high standards of safety and quality. You will work closely with subcontractors and the project team to ensure the timely completion of the project.Essential certifications include SMSTS, DBS Enhanced, and First Aid.Skills:
1. Strong mechanical and electrical installation knowledge
2. Proven site management experience
3. Excellent communication and leadership skills
4. Ability to manage and coordinate subcontractors
5. Strong problem-solving skills
6. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
7. Proficiency in reading and interpreting design drawings
8. Familiarity with health and safety regulations
9. IT literacy
10. Strong organisational skillsCertifications & Standards:
  • SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme)
  • DBS Enhanced
  • First Aid
