We are looking for a highly motivated Delegate Acquisition & Event Marketing Executive to join our growing team. This is an exciting graduate-level opportunity combining delegate sales with event marketing, giving the right candidate exposure to both commercial and marketing functions within the international events industry.The successful candidate will play a key role in:
  • Driving delegate attendance and revenue for our conferences.
  • Supporting and delivering marketing campaigns to promote events globally.
  • Gaining first-hand experience working with senior executives in the maritime sector.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIESDelegate Acquisition
  • Research and identify target audiences across ports, terminals, solution providers and the wider supply chain.
  • Generate delegate revenue through outbound sales (phone, email, LinkedIn).
  • Build strong relationships with senior industry professionals and secure their participation at events.
  • Maintain accurate pipeline and contact records in CRM.
  • Support onsite delegate management and networking at live events.
Event Marketing
  • Assist in the creation and delivery of marketing campaigns (email, social media, web, and digital advertising).
  • Write engaging copy for delegate promotions, event websites, and digital channels.
  • Support the design team in developing marketing collateral (brochures, banners, graphics).
  • Conduct competitor and industry research to inform campaign strategy.
  • Monitor campaign performance and contribute to post-event reporting.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
  • Graduate-level (degree in marketing, business, communications, or related discipline preferred).
  • Some prior experience in sales, marketing, events, or media (internships or placements included) desirable.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Confident in engaging with senior stakeholders over the phone and online.
  • Commercially minded, target-driven, and highly motivated.
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing tools (Salesforce/Account Engagement, LinkedIn, Google Analytics, WordPress, or similar) advantageous.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
