
Project Quantity Surveyor - Design and Build

*Preparing accurate cost plans, budgets, and tender documents for Dandamp;B projects
*Performing risk, value management, and cost control
*Monitoring project progress, forecasting costs, and managing variations
*Preparing interim valuations, final accounts, and subcontractor payments
*Attending regular project and site meetings to provide commercial support
*Working closely with the site team and design consultants to ensure best value
*Ensuring compliance with contractual obligations and company procedures
*Supporting procurement of subcontractors and materials
*Reporting directly to the Commercial Manager/DirectorWhat you will need to succeed:*Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor on Dandamp;B projects (main contractor side)
*Minimum of 4+ years' experience in a similar role within the UK construction industry
*Strong understanding of JCT contracts and cost control systems
*HNC/HND or degree in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management
*Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and standard QS software packages
*Excellent communication, negotiation, and organisational skills
*Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
*Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to regional sitesWhat you get in return:*Salary of £45,000 to £55,000 (dependent on experience)
