£89/day | Primary | Barking & Dagenham | September Start | Full-Time | Long-Term Axcis are supporting a welcoming primary school in Barking & Dagenham who are seeking a compassionate SEN TA to work with KS2 pupils with Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD). Many pupils also present with additional needs such as ADHD or anxiety, and require extra support to access learning at their own pace. Ofsted has commended the school's inclusive culture and their strong track record of developing staff through ongoing CPD. Located close to the District Line and local bus routes, the school is easy to reach. In this role, you will: • Support small groups and individuals in KS2 who are working 2-4 years below age expectations. • Help pupils with reading, writing and numeracy, adapting lessons where needed. • Provide pastoral and emotional support, especially for children with anxiety. • Implement personalised strategies in line with EHCPs. • Work closely with teachers and parents to track and celebrate progress. What we're looking for: • Experience working with children with MLD or additional needs. • A patient, nurturing approach and ability to motivate reluctant learners. • Confidence in adapting resources and breaking down tasks. • A positive team player who shares the school's inclusive ethos. This is a highly rewarding opportunity for someone who enjoys helping children overcome barriers to learning. If you're passionate about SEN and looking for a long-term role in a supportive primary school, this position will allow you to make a genuine difference to pupils' academic and personal growth.
