- Provide leadership and guidance to the care team to ensure the highest standards of care for children and young people.
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the residential home, including staffing, resources, and facilities management.
- Develop and implement care plans tailored to the individual needs of each child, with a focus on promoting their well-being and development.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards, including those set by Ofsted.
- Foster a positive and supportive environment for both staff and residents, promoting a culture of empathy, trust, honesty, integrity, compassion, and safeguarding.
- Collaborate with external agencies, professionals, and families to support the holistic needs of the children and young people in our care.
- Participate in the recruitment, training, and development of staff, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge to provide high-quality care.
- Previous experience in a senior or deputy role within children's residential care settings.
- In-depth knowledge of Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) and other complex needs/challenging behaviours.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in a relevant position within the last 5 years.
- At least 2 years' experience in a supervisory or managerial role, including staff management.
- NVQ Level 3 in Children and Young People or equivalent qualification.
- Commitment to delivering high-quality care and upholding ethical standards.
- Right to work in the United Kingdom.
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare.
- 'Good' or 'Outstanding' grade within recent Ofsted inspections.
- Hold a current UK Driving Licence.
- Competitive salary up to £55,000 per annum.
