These apprenticeships will follow the Level 4 Commercial Procurement and Supply standard, offering structured development, professional qualifications, and hands-on experience in a fast-paced public sector environment.What will I be doing?The Council buys a wide range of goods, services and building works to help us deliver services to the people of Bristol. The role of the Council’s Procurement & Contract Management Service is to ensure we get good value for money and high quality service from our suppliers when we place and manage contracts.There are two different opportunities for apprenticeships within the Procurement & Contract Management service. Both sit within the Governance and Performance area of the service, one in Supplier Relations and one in Governance and Performance. You will also be given opportunity to work within all different areas of the service to make sure you get the experience you need to achieve the CIPS Level 4 procurement qualification. You will need to have good verbal and written communication skills with the ability to provide complex information accurately. We are looking for people with a working knowledge of Microsoft office applications, or equivalent, and have a willingness to learn new applications with support.
