- Hold a Level 5 qualification in a related subject for example - Animal Conservation, Veterinary Science, Animal Behaviour/Welfare, or Animal Management
- Hold a relevant teaching qualification or be willing to achieve this within a set period from appointment
- Current knowledge with some industrial experience within one or more of the subject areas
- Experience of teaching, training and delivering to a range of students
- Must have experience with awarding bodies and technical requirements of qualification delivery
- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and targets
- Be a good team player with a flexible approach to working hours, as some evening work will be required and the ability to undertake the associated administration tasks.
