- Acting as Contract Administrator or Employer’s Agent across a variety of building types, using standard forms of construction contracts.
- Managing client relationships, including presenting schemes, project programming, and progress updates.
- Appointing and overseeing the professional team, ensuring delivery against agreed programmes.
- Preparing feasibility studies, appraisals, and outline design proposals with cost estimates.
- Leading procurement processes, including tender analysis and reporting.
- Carrying out regular site visits and issuing inspection reports.
- Managing multiple projects simultaneously to meet quality, cost, and time objectives.
- Supporting and mentoring junior members of the project management team.
- Degree in Project Management, Building Surveying, or Quantity Surveying (or equivalent).
- Chartered or Associate membership with RICS or equivalent professional body preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years’ project management experience, ideally within a consultancy environment.
- Experience in education, residential, and refurbishment projects advantageous.
- Strong knowledge of JCT and NEC contracts.
- Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders and maintain client satisfaction.
- Salary in the region of £55,000 – £65,000, dependent on experience.
