Responsibilities:1. Provide administrative support to the SOC team, including managing documentation, filing, and record-keeping.2. Assist with the scheduling and coordination of Security team activities like meetings, training sessions, phishing campaigns and other activities.3. Collaborate with team members to compile and organize Security incident reports, metrics, and other operational data.4. Create and maintain comprehensive Security documentation, including standard operating procedures, incident response playbooks, and knowledge base articles.5. Support the onboarding and offboarding process for SOC team members, ensuring that necessary access and equipment are provided.6. Assist in tracking and managing security-related tasks and projects, ensuring timely completion.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather information and compile reports for management and regulatory purposes.7. Coordinate with external vendors and service providers to ensure the availability of required Security resources.8. Assist in the maintenance of security tools and technologies used by the SOC team.9. Contribute to the continuous improvement of Security operational processes and workflows.10. Provide backup SOC support during times of increased workloads or team member absenceWhat will help you succeed in this role?:Essential1. Educational background: A bachelor’s degree or academic qualification inclined towards computer science, Information Technology, or a related field is required. A master’s degree is preferred, however suitable experience and experience can be taken in to account.2. Experience: 1 to 3 years of proven experience supporting IT SOC or security operations as Security Operations Analyst or in a similar role within a large/ mid-sized organization.3. Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.4. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate with team members and stakeholders.Desirable1. Familiarity with legal industry practices and regulations is a plus.2. Good understanding of IT Security and IT systems, with a focus on Microsoft products.3. Working understanding of security tools SIEM (e.g. MS Sentinel), EDR (e.g. MS Defender), Email gateway (e.g. Mimecast), etc.4. Working understanding of security alert monitoring and incident investigation5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and collaboration tools.6. Familiarity with Vulnerability management concepts (e.g. CVE understanding) and related tools and technologies (e.g. Qualys) is a plus.
