We're looking for a Lighting Controls Technical Product Specialist to join a well-established manufacturer. This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of a diverse lighting controls portfolio and become the go-to person for all things controls-related, from wireless systems to central management platforms.What You'll Be Doing
- Acting as the in-house expert for lighting controls systems and devices.
- Managing technical enquiries and ensuring system compatibility with lighting products.
- Troubleshooting issues and mitigating problems post-installation.
- Collaborating with sales teams and customers to define requirements and present solutions.
- Maintaining documentation and supporting production and installation processes.
- Building relationships with third-party controls partners to deliver innovative solutions.
- Experience or knowledge of DALI lighting controls is essential.
- Ability to listen, understand problems, and apply product knowledge to solve them.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and a proactive mindset.
- Curiosity and a genuine interest in learning a product portfolio.
- Comfortable communicating across departments and with people at all levels.
- Office-based experience and familiarity with professional environments.
- Knowledge of D4i, Bluetooth, and NLC systems.
- Experience using SolidWorks CAD software.
- Graduate with an electronics degree, showing enthusiasm and awareness of current trends.
- 20 days annual leave (rising to 25 after 2 years)
