Estates DepartmentPlumbing and Heating engineerDue to a re-organisation of the Estates Department there is a vacancy for a Plumbing and Heating engineer.Hours - 37.5 hours per weekSalary £31,104 (negotiable on experience) plus 27 days holiday, plus bank holidays and voluntary pension scheme.The role is Monday- Friday with opportunities for overtime and weekend working, plus participation of an emergency on call rota.Start and finishing times 8.00 am to 4.00 pm.The SWFTCS Estates Department provides a comprehensive maintenance repair and installation service of building, grounds, engineering services and associated equipment throughout the SWFT Trust.Please contact Steve Dyer for an informal chat 01926 495321 ex 4700Please be advised that the cost of the DBS check will be covered by the successful candidate.Main duties of the jobTo work autonomously as a specialist Mechanical craftsperson's area of expertise, (Plumbing and Heating) planning and responding to Planned Preventive Maintenance and emergency calls. The post requires frequent concentration to diagnose complex faults and the adaptability to respond to frequent interruptions and deal with unplanned maintenance issues.About usSWFT Clinical Services is a wholly owned subsidiary of the South Warwickshire University NHS Foundation Trust (SWFT). Including Water Systems, Natural Gas appliances/equipment, HVAC, Steam raising Plant, Refrigeration, Medical Gas Systems, Mechanical Pressure Systems, Oil fired plant, Drainage and Decontamination etc.To carry out new work or undertake new production appropriate to his/her original trade using relevant instruments and machinery without supervision.
