We’re seeking a motivated Commercial Paralegal (12 months FTC) to join our dynamic in-house Legal team. The successful applicant will work directly for our associate legal counsel and work closely with all areas of the business, particularly the commercial team.About Us:NCP is the UK’s largest car park operator, with a history spanning over 90 years. Acquired by Park24 and the Development Bank of Japan in 2017, NCP is at the forefront of parking operations, creating partnerships and managing projects with flexibility and efficiency.Key Responsibilities:NCP has recently introduced a new and exciting arm to our business consisting of enforcement only contracts. This has created an influx of work for the commercial branch of the legal team.We are looking to hire a keen and competent paralegal who will support in the day-to-day drafting of these contracts, playing a key role in the development of this new area.We also will require assistance with other commercial contracts such as event licences, non-disclosure agreements and specialised parking agreements.
  • Acting as an internal key point of contact for any enforcement only contracts.
  • Drafting a variety of commercial contracts.
  • Investigating title and land ownership documents.
  • Managing and streamlining the process.
  • Keeping a comprehensive tracker of all contracts.
  • Assisting the associate legal counsel with ad hoc tasks.
The role holder may be asked to undertake other duties, as required, which are not necessarily specified in this role profile, but which are commensurate with the grade for this role. It may be amended from time to time within the scope and general level of responsibility attached to this role.What We’re Looking For:
  • A minimum of 2 years paralegal experience in commercial property.
  • Strong IT skills and excellent organizational abilities.
  • Capability to work independently and as part of a team, supported by the in-house Legal team.
  • A solid academic background.
