- An exciting opportunity for multiple Manufacturing Biotechnologists to join our team!
- You will work as part of a shift team (shifts will include evening and weekend work), performing hands-on manufacturing of an autologous commercially licensed, Nobel prize winning CRISPR-Cas9 gene-edited product according to Good Manufacturing Practice within a highly controlled clean room environment.
- Complete quality related documentation including manufacturing batch records, forms, and logbooks to a high level of GDP following all relevant standard operating procedures and instructions.
- Assist with change controls, deviations, and risk assessments.
- Support daily housekeeping activities, including but not limited to cleaning, stock control, and ordering materials.
- Prepare standard operating procedures and prepare batch records, work instructions, and forms.
- Participate in the qualification, calibration, and maintenance of manufacturing equipment.
- Experience or an educational background in stem cells, cellular therapies, or cell banking.
- You will have an awareness/understanding of a GMP cleanroom production environment.
- Excellent computer skills with experience in Microsoft packages.
- You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to write reports/record output and an excellent attention to detail.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- The Manufacturing Biotechnologist must complete an initial training programme to develop relevant practical skills satisfactorily.
- You will hold a BSc in a Life Science or a related subject or equivalent relevant experience.
