- Provide technical support and coordination for the Self-Checkout deployment programme.
- Configure and troubleshoot Windows-based POS/SCO devices, including bespoke applications and drivers.
- Act as a subject matter expert for software packaging and deployment processes.
- Support remote installations and diagnostics using the Ivanti ITSM software tool.
- Coordinate with field engineers, 3rd party vendors/suppliers, and on-site contacts to ensure smooth deployments.
- Take ownership of scheduled go-live support, including early-morning checklists, system verifications, and escalation handling.
- Deliver project updates and reporting, including performance and roll-out progress.
- 4/5 days per week are 07:00/08:00 - 15:00/16:00 & Early shift (remote) 04:00/05:00 - 12:00/13:00
- Be responsive to changing business needs - adaptability is key!
- Proven background in Level 2 support, desktop deployment or IT field engineering.
- Strong knowledge of POS or Self-Checkout technologies, particularly Windows OS-based systems.
- Hands-on experience with software config, packaging, and deployment processes.
- Experience with Ivanti or similar ITSM/remoting tools (e.g., SCCM, Intune etc.).
- Demonstrated ability to manage and communicate with engineers and vendors.
- Flexible to support out-of-hours deployments and early morning go-live support (on rotation).
- Ideally have previous experience in large-scale retail technology rollouts.
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
