Are you a qualified Mental Health Officer? Are you passionate about safeguarding people and protecting their wellbeing? We are looking for Mental Health officers who will have a strong commitment to ensuring the best outcomes for service users, and who are ready to join a fast paced team and hit the ground running. This contract is for a minimum of 3 months, office-based initially until with the potential to be more agile once settled in with a competitive rate up to £50 per hour.Responsibilities:
  • Reviews and referrals
  • Generic statutory Mental Health officer duties
  • Assessments
  • Carry your own case load
  • Report writing
Requirements:
  • Mental Health officer training
  • Degree in Social Work or equivalent
  • Member of the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC)
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to work flexibly, under direction and independently where necessary
  • Member of the PVG scheme
